VIDEO BUZZ| VIDEO PREMIERE: “POWER” -Kanye West “A Video Portrait”…
There were a lot of mixed feelings about this video when it debut last night on MTV, and I saw a lot of negative responses about it, the fact that it was too short, and most felt it wasn’t what they expected. But now that I’ve watched for myself, it’s visually creative..and I liked it, and I believe represented the message of the song. But yes, I do wish it was a bit longer.
Kanye West is an “out the box” kind of artist, and I always expect the unexpected from him!!

I love this dedication to his long time boo, Tiny, but the song is just ok to me. I would’ve liked it more if Tiny would’ve sang Keri’s part, it would’ve made the song more personal. Rumors are, they’re getting married in Hawaii this weekend…I guess we’ll see!!

In the video, actor Michael Jai White serves as Nicki’s love interest…
“We wanted to have geisha themes, samurai themes, stuff like that,” Minaj told MTV News from the Los Angeles set. “I wanted to tell a love story. It’s just kinda liking a guy, where he’s not really for you to like — the forbidden fruit — and me and this other girl happen to like him and we go to war.”
