FLASHBACK: Below is a flashback of when Mo’Nique was on The View back in 2006, where Ms. Walters referred to her twin boys as “lil creatures”, and Joy was clearly getting under Mo’Nique’s skin…

The reason why I have this gardenia in my hair (is) it is the flower that Hattie McDaniel wore when she accepted her Oscar. So, for you, Ms. Hattie McDaniel, I feel you all over me, and it’s about time that the world feels you all over them.”
Hattie McDaniel wore the same-color dress to the 1940 Oscars, when she became the first African-American to win gold.

Monique gave up a lot of info on the upcoming Barbara Walter’s Oscar Special[airs this Sunday @ 7pm]..[too much if you ask me]..I mean when celebs talk and are open with us, that’s great, but some things, I would just keep to myself.[just my .o2]
Despite her constant claims of an open union with hubby Sidney Hicks, Mo’Nique reveals that she doesn’t stray – but she may not be able to say the same about her better half.
“Let me say this: I have not had sex outside my marriage with Sidney,” Monique says.
“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’”
And what if Monique discovered that Hicks had, well, stepped out more than once? No sweat.
“What if it’s 20 times?” asks the open minded actress. “So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Often times, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.” Wait, there’s more…
CONGRATS to our girl, once again, for winning Best Supporting Actress, this time @ the Screen Actors Guild Awards , which makes her third award win for her role in “Precious“.. Already winning the Critic’s Choice, Golden Globe, and now SAG… and you already know she got the Oscar on lock!! I’m so proud, and ALL her awards are sooooooo deserved.

The Golden Globes got it right, and YES, my girl got what she deserved for her role in “Precious”… and you know what this means …. MONIQUE WILL BE AN ACADEMY-AWARD WINNING ACTRESS come Oscar time…I sincerely believe that.

Well “The Monique Show” premiered Monday night on BET, and she opened with guest Monica, who talked about her own Reality Show premiering on BET, “I’M STILL STANDING”, October 27. On Monique’s second night [last night], she had guests Tiny & Toya on, and it was officially announced that BET has picked up “Tiny & Toya”‘s reality show for a second season.
