What motivated her to go on when she was in the hospital:
“I was in the hospital and they gave me a different name. Nobody asked me anything about the press, they talked to me about my nails and hair. A nurse, Melanie, she would come in and make me walk around. She brought me Sister 2 Sister magazine, and I was in there. She told me ‘You gotta get outta here and you gotta go back to work.’ And for me there are people that love me and want to see me go back to work. There’s no perfect person.”
She cried as she continued: “They didn’t treat me like Fantasia, they treated me like Tasia.”

Usher & Chilli Had “THAT LOVE”…
Usher’s VH-1 “Behind The Music” aired a couple of nights ago, and it was very in depth about his beginnings, his career, and of course his relationships with Chilli and his ex-wife Tameka.
A couple of things I took from this were:
Diddy would not be the person I would send my underage teenage boy to go live with, because he definitely was exposing Usher to a lot of inappropriate grown folk thangs, and trying to make Usher an oversexed sex symbol @ 15…I’m sure Mama Usher didn’t know a lot of this was going on (@ least I hope not).

Jennifer Hudson’s “Behind The Music” aired on VH-1 last night, and it was a great back story of how she started out, her American Idol journey, all the way to the Oscars, and winning for her first movie role. I definitely appreciate and respect Jennifer and her story, and her strength to overcome the tragic lost of her family (mother, brother, nephew).

Usher chatted it up with the ladies on “The View”, and also performed my absolute favorite thus far off his album “Raymond vs Raymond”, and did it oh so smooth & sexy…
He talked “American Idol”, Fatherhood. and also about putting his “swag” on pause for a second, but now he wants it back.
Now Usher has taken some criticism on some of his outfit choices, and even some of his performances, but today he most definitely had his SWAG BACK & ALL THE WAY TURNT UP.

Just In Case You Missed It…Will, Jada, their kids, Will’s ex wife, her husband, and the parents, all appeared on Oprah yesterday, and I so love their philosophies on marriage, raising their kids, family, which is something that seems to be rarely practiced these days. The fact that ALL MEMBERS of the family, including the ex, are mature enough to work together for the kids, is beautiful and something that should be watched and emulated.
Something Will said that touched me, was how when he was filming in China with Jayden for his movie “Karate Kid”, every weekend he flew back home to watch his oldest son Trey play in his football games…WOW! I posted on my Twitter: Wait, there’s more…
