I met Andrea Kelly for the first time last week @ the Atlanta “TAKERS” premiere, and she was full of energy and I definitely wanted to chat with her further, since we don’t know much about the former wife of R Kelly. Shoot, most of us didn’t even know he was married.
She revealed some things about being married to who she refers to as “king of R & B” , and dealing with scandal, and also let’s us know she’s filming for her new reality show, produced by the creator of Real Housewives Of Atlanta, so we’ll definitely get to know who Andrea Kelly is, and she’s not just the ex-wife of R Kelly.
Between her dance company-”Andrea Kelly Dance Theater.”, her urban-burlesque company-”Pink Kitty Cabaret”, her up & coming fashion line-”Anonsia” (she’s consulting with ATL designer Mychael Knight, and she expects to release her line Fall 2011), being a mom to 3 children ( 2 girls & 1 son-12, 10, 8 years old), and her new reality show, Andrea says she’s keeping busy and she loves it!!! DWTS-Maksim Chmerkovskiy(Max) & his partner Brandy, caught leaving from having dinner @ Katsuya Restaurant in Hollywood. Brandy has herself a cutie for a partner, can there be a possible romance? All those hours of rehearsals, dancing and stuff 
, you know there’s always @ least 1 hook-up every season of this show…we’ll see. [some flirty touches are seen in the video below]
Truth be told, I wasn’t too thrilled about our Brandy being on this show that a I deemed to be a platform for those not so relevant celebs who are trying to get their career back. To me, Brandy should be hard in the studio working on a CD, we miss her in the music game, or at least I do. Also, her reality show “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business” was of course picked up for season 2. But anywho, I will be supporting my girl and watching DWTS this season. I’m rooting for you Brandy, and hooking up with cutie Max wouldn’t be a bad thing…just sayin!!

BET.com caught up with TIP, to talk with him about the success of his movie “TAKERS”
Takers was in less theaters than its competition but still managed to rock the number one spot. What do you think it was about this film?
“We built a bond that I feel transcended through the screen,” says T.I., the star and producer of the number one film in the country, “Takers”. I can’t complain! With the support of the people behind me. Man, I’m ecstatic!”
You know The Buzz In The City was in the house for the exclusive Atlanta “TAKERS” PREMIERE this past Wednesday night @ Atlantic Station Regal Theaters. The red carpet was hot as hell and crowded, but it was all worth it to see T.I., FIIIINNNNEEEEEEEE ASS MICHAEL EALY, Paul Walker [such a cutie with his blue eyes], Will Packer, and a host of celebs who came out to show support. There was an excitement and huge anticipation for this film by everyone there, and we were among the few select media who got the chance to actually sit for the screening, and all I gotta say is WOW!!! TAKERS was the bomb.com, and is worth your money to go support a great cast, and a great film. Shoutout to Chris Brown for doing the damn thang on his stunts, and Will Packer for giving us a great combination, the best looking cast and action packed excitement. Tip, we salute you and the Grand Hustle fam on putting on your producer hat for such a great project. JOB WELL DONE!!

SIDEBAR| I had the pleasure of sitting next to some of Tip’s family members in the theater,which included his grandfather, who was too proud of his grandson, talking at the screen “That’s my baby boy”. Tip’s fam was so proud!!

What motivated her to go on when she was in the hospital:
“I was in the hospital and they gave me a different name. Nobody asked me anything about the press, they talked to me about my nails and hair. A nurse, Melanie, she would come in and make me walk around. She brought me Sister 2 Sister magazine, and I was in there. She told me ‘You gotta get outta here and you gotta go back to work.’ And for me there are people that love me and want to see me go back to work. There’s no perfect person.”
She cried as she continued: “They didn’t treat me like Fantasia, they treated me like Tasia.”

The Los Angeles native will join previously announced cast members Bow Wow, Loretta Devine and Old Spice pitchman Isaiah Mustafa in the drama/comedy.
Mustafa will portray Calvin, a man struggling with his family relationships. Devine and Bow Wow will play his mother-in-law and brother-in-law, respectively. London will play Bow Wow’s girlfriend.
