Usher’s New Look Foundation hosted the first annual World Leadership Awards this past Friday night at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta. Those that came to support were Justin Bieber, Ciara and Usher, who performed, and former President Bill Clinton was there to receive the Service Legacy Award. Justin Bieber was also honored with the Global Youth Leader Award.
The New Look Foundation was founded by Usher. It’s a non-profit that aims to motivate and mobilize young people around the country to become corporate and community leaders.

Ne-Yo hosted his 3rd Annual Compound Foundation’s Mothers Day Brunch @ Opera nightclub here in Atlanta yesterday, where he recognized several foster moms and treated them to a catered brunch, a show provided by Raheem Devaughn, and a day of pampering provided by Carols Daughter. Of course his mother Lorraine was there , his girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, and his little sister, Nikki Smith.

Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges will explain the importance of taking 10 minutes to fill out 10 questions on the Census to young African Americans, to ensure that our communities receive part of a $400B allotment every year of federal support. These dollars help maintain bridges, tunnels and public works, emergency services, schools, and job training using Census numbers that stand for 10 years!

My girls over @ IAmFashionWeak.com are volunteering with Queen For A Day on Jan. 29th from 1-4pm @ Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta- Egleston. Queen for a Day is a non-profit charity whose mission is to raise self-esteem and confidence of children ages 3-21 with cancer. There will be makeovers, the little Queens will receive the full works to include, lip gloss, blush, eye shadow…of course they will top it off with a boa! The fellas will have their pick of temporary tattoos, fireman hats, badges, and goodie bags filled with little toys!
