I was @ a meeting yesterday, when someone there revealed she was a “Hurricane Katrina” Survivor, and relocated here to ATL.
I wanted to take the time talk with her about how she feels 5 years after the devastation of “HURRICANE KATRINA”.
Meet Keren Charles…
Keren says:
“In New Orleans, a hurricane warning usually meant getting a few days off from work. So my family & I only packed enough to get us through because we knew we would be right back. We had been through this same thing every year during hurricane season.”

A new publication-FEARLESS Magazine is honoring women of color who are working actresses in Young Hollywood. If you remember,Vanity Fair featured what they presumed as being “the new Hollywood” for the next decade, and I guess that didn’t include actresses of color.
Arian Simone, the Editorial Director of Fearless Magazine, thought that this was a great opportunity to celebrate women of color who are actresses in “Young Hollywood,”
On the cover are eight talented actresses that are rising stars in Hollywood, Tia Mowry, Lauren London, Naturi Naughton, Monique Coleman, Jennifer Freeman, Kyla Pratt, Tiffany Hines (Nikita), and Chyna Layne (Precious).
