She answered, [well.. sort of] some of our questions we had about her & Usher.. You know our Ryan Cameron was going to try and get it out!! One of the things Tameka addresses is making known, she was never the cause of Usher’s break up with his long time girlfriend“Chilli”. She quotes below….

“He’s put a ring on one finger…ok? on ONE. He’s dated many many people and I don’t like the misconception that I’m the reason. I hate that they made the comparison. I have nothing to do with why they’re not together. I won’t speak on why they’re not together. I have my opinion on that as well but I won’t share it. However, he made a choice to marry who he wanted. There was no gun. He didn’t get married at gunpoint…”

On how she found out about her pending divorce:

It was a rumor on the internet, so friends and family called, saying “Are you okay?” I didn’t understand why. But Usher and I weren’t really speaking then. He was away recording and I was angry about other things going on. (At that time, Usher was spotted out with another woman). He filed two days later

On speculation that the original album title (Monster) was about her:

I’m not that bad [laughs]. “Monster” is slang for a big hit… Wait, there’s more…
