Tuesday night in ATL, there was a pre-production party to promote a new reality show to hit the ATL… currently being called “REAL WOMEN OF ATLANTA”. They start shooting this Fall, and anticipate a release date in Spring 2010. It’s being shopped to Bravo[same network as RHOA].. but has not officially found a network home as of yet….
What is the “supposed difference” between this show and The Real Housewives Of Atlanta?… Well the premise of this new show is that the women of this show are self-made success stories, they do not depend on, or have to credit any man for their success or wealth….
Jamilah Rouse, age 27, is the center and main character of the show, who more than quadrupled her income into six figures within three months. The show will follow Jamilah and her friends aka: the rest of the cast,as they handle the day-to-day operations of their profitable businesses, shop for homes in exclusive country clubs, close the chapter on marriages, juggle parenthood and struggle with finding Mr. Right in Hotlanta. On tomorrow’s episode of The Real Housewives of ATL, Shereé meets with Dwight to help put together her upcoming fashion show but the two butt heads when they clearly have different opinions on the aesthetic.
Kandi rehearses with her backup dancers for her upcoming solo show and gets nervous when she can’t get choreography down.
And Kim is on a high from her reunion with Big Poppa, but gets a harsh reality when she goes into the studio to record the rest of “Tardy for the Party”.

TMZ has learned The Ludacris Foundation has partnered up with Home Depot and Sam’s Club to help victims of the Atlanta floods — which City Hall officials say caused $61 million in damages and wrecked nearly 500 homes.
We spoke to a rep for the foundation, who told us Luda and T.I. are donating $10,000 each to the cause.
The Foundation’s rep told us they are planning a large food bank and a gift card giveaway that could happen as soon as Friday.

On X-17 Online.. they report one guest stating “”It was a bit odd, though, that there were so many cameras around — the place was beautiful but it did look a little like a Hollywood set. I can’t imagine Khloe would get married for the wrong reasons though … she seems like a nice girl.”
I REFUSE to believe that this is a “real wedding”.. and I suggest we all stay tuned for E’s new reality show….

Kandi From RHOA Opens Up About Her Album, Fiance’, NeNe, & Her New Boutique?
Kandi talks about her new album “BLOG” which hits stores November 10, and points out her track with fellow Xscape member Tiny, is definitely the track to listen to…As an Xscape fan, I’m looking forward to it. She talks about people’s perception of her being with a man with “6 kids and 4 babymamas”, and that someone who has kids should not be considered “damaged goods”…Honestly, I definitely agree with Kandi, that when someone, male or female, has a child or children, we’re not damaged goods, but my opinion of her, a successful single mother taking on such extra “issues”….. to each his own, if you’re happy with it, then do what’s best FOR YOU, I think I’ve stated in previous posts how I feel.
