I’m sure we were all surprised when Mase stopped his rap career and wanted to be a minister, what a distinct contrast. We dubbed it temporary and some of us laughed and mocked. Then he came back into the music game and we were like, he confused as to what he wants to do, he should make up his mind. But listening to him talk and explain his journey and his reasons for his choices, I feel he is truly sincere in his path to be a messenger for Christ, and as with all of us, we are not perfect, and we will sometimes fail or slip, but the goal is to get back on that right path. So in my opinion, why should Mase have to choose??  His return to music,to Hip-Hop, I believe could be a good thing. Nothing wrong with positive music and being an example in different arenas, especially in an arena Mase once called home and was very successful in. The point of being a messenger for Christ is to spread his message, especially to those who may be deemed the most distant from it.
